Islamabad: It has been decided to summon PTI leaders including Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan in terrorism cases.
According to sources, it has been decided to send summon notices to former Prime Minister Imran Khan and 23 leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf in terrorism cases. Police sources say that there has been significant progress in the JIT’s investigation, according to which the JIT has recorded the statements of Islamabad Police and FC officers.
The JIT has so far recorded the statements of about 200 officers and personnel. Even before this, JIT has summoned 23 leaders including Imran Khan, but till now not a single leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf has been investigated in front of JIT.
According to the sources, JIT will take unilateral action if the PTI leaders are not investigated.
