A reference was filed against Justice Syed Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
A reference against Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi was filed in the Supreme Judicial Council by the Balochistan Bar Council.
It may be recalled that earlier on February 23, a reference related to properties was filed against Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi in the Supreme Judicial Council on behalf of Mian Dawood Advocate.
Reference was sent to Secretary Supreme Judicial Council by Mian Dawood Advocate.
In the reference, it was requested to investigate the assets of the Supreme Court judge and his family members.
In the reference filed, it was requested that the Supreme Judicial Council investigate the assets of Justice Mazahir Akbar Naqvi.
On March 4, the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Lawyers Forum filed a complaint against Justice Mazahir Naqvi in the Supreme Judicial Council. That action should be taken against Justice Mazahar Naqvi under Article 209.
On March 10, the Pakistan Bar Council also filed a complaint against Supreme Court Justice Mazahir Akbar Naqvi, requesting the Supreme Judicial Council to investigate the complaint immediately.
The complaint against Justice Mazahir Akbar Naqvi was filed by Vice Chairman Haroon Al Rasheed and Chairman Executive Committee Hasan Raza Pasha.
The Pakistan Bar Council said that the complaint was filed under Article 209 of the Constitution.
