Lahore: An inquiry has been started against Dr. Yasmin Rashid in the case of corruption and bribery of billions of rupees in Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
Anti-corruption establishment Punjab summoned PTI leader and former provincial health minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid on April 4 at 12 noon in connection with the inquiry.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid is accused of accepting bribes in parking, canteen and cleaning contracts. Executive Director PIC and MS are accused of giving crores of rupees bribe to Dr. Yasmin Rashid and taking his expenses.
Anti-corruption also summoned Executive Director PIC Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin, MS Dr. Muhammad Tahsin, AMS Purchase Dr. Shakeel. AMS Store Pharmacy Dr. Masood Nawaz was also summoned by Anti-Corruption along with Dr. Yasmin Rashid. Is. The accused are accused of causing a loss of more than one billion rupees to the government exchequer by purchasing stunts at high prices in Central Purchase.
The accused are also accused of taking huge commission in the purchase of stunts by violating the Peppera rules in the current financial year. Apart from this, the equipment used in the bypass operation is also accused of buying at high prices. The PIC administration is also accused of stealing goods worth crores of rupees from the PIC store, including cardiac batteries.
