The Sessions Court of Lahore has extended the interim bail of PTI leader Yasmin Rashid and Mahmoodur Rashid till April 13 in the case of concealing the facts of Zal Shah’s death in a traffic accident.
The court extended the interim bail of Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Mahmood-ul-Rashid till April 13, while accepting the pleas of Fawad Chaudhry and Farrukh Habib for a one-day appearance.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid appeared in the court during the hearing on the interim bail applications and left.
During the hearing, the session court asked the court official whether the record of the case has come?
The court official replied that according to the investigating officer, the record has been produced in another court in a similar case.
In the petition of the PTI leaders, it has been stated that PTI activist Zal-e-Shah was named in the case without justification.
It has been requested in the petition that there is a fear of arrest, interim bail should be granted to join the investigation, bail should also be given before the arrest till the final decision of the case.
A case of killing of Zul-e Shah has been registered in police station Sarwar Road in Lahore, in which Yasmin Rashid, Mahmood-ul-Rashid, Imran Khan and other PTI leaders have been named.
