An incident of firing on a vehicle has taken place near Lyari Expressway Garden Interchange in Karachi, in which Ophthalmologist Dr. Birbal Ginani has died.
Karachi’s well-known ophthalmologist and former senior director of health, MC and Public Health, Dr. Birbal Ginani, was killed by firing on a car on the Lyari Expressway.
Dr. Birbal Ginani was also the Medical Superintendent of Spencer Eye Hospital, Lyari, he retired from the post of Tariq Public Health City Govt. one and a half years ago.
The deceased Dr. Birbal had also recently obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health along with his daughter.
The incident of target killing of Dr. Birbal Ginani, who belongs to the minority community, took place at a place where two police stations meet.
The boundary dispute in Garden and Soldier Bazar police stations continued till late.
