The National Institute of Health has confirmed poliovirus for the second time in the environmental samples of Lahore.
According to the National Institute of Health, Islamabad, on January 16, polio virus was found in the sewage water in the Multan Road area.
The polio virus found in sewage water came from South Waziristan.
Earlier on January 2, polio virus was also found in the environmental samples taken from Gulshan-e-Ravi, Lahore.
It should be remembered that no case of polio has been reported in Pakistan so far this year.
