The flight destination of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from Jeddah to Karachi has been changed suddenly, due to which the passengers are facing problems.
Flight PK 860 was scheduled to depart from Jeddah to Karachi at 5:40 PM KST. An hour before departure, the flight was diverted from Jeddah to Lahore.
Umrah pilgrims were shocked at this strange move of PIA.
The number of Umrah pilgrims coming to Karachi by Airbus 320 is more than 150.
According to the passengers, the passengers from Jeddah to Karachi are being given two options, the first of which is to be accommodated on the flight to Lahore, from where the passengers are being advised to take another domestic flight to Karachi on Sunday morning.
Another option is being given by the PIA staff to wait till 12 midnight on Sunday, in this option it is being asked to wait for a direct flight from Jeddah to Karachi.
Passengers of PIA Multan and Quetta are also facing more or less the same situation at Jeddah Airport.
Passengers say that Pakistani passengers prefer the national airline over other airlines, but this attitude of PIA is beyond understanding.
