Lahore: Punjab Police has claimed that two of the alleged miscreants arrested during the Zaman Park operation were in constant telephone contact with banned organizations.
In the matter of the police operation in Zaman Park, Imran Khan’s residence, the police informed about the progress and said that during the operation, two alleged miscreants were also detained, whose records turned out to be suspicious.
The police have claimed that both the accused in custody were in contact with members of banned organizations on telephone. The accused have been identified as Qadir Khan and Muhammad Irfan.
According to police sources, after the records of the accused came to light, the police handed over both of them to CTD for further investigation, where important revelations are expected from them.
It should be noted that the federal government, Muslim League-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has also claimed that there are people belonging to the banned organization in Zaman Park who are attacking the police.
Apart from this, the Caretaker Chief Minister and IG Punjab had shown a picture of a person in the press conference and said that he is the accomplice of Sufi Muhammad, the head of the banned organization Tehreek Nifaz Sharia, and has also served more than seven years in jail.
