Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Shireen Mazari’s statement is condemnable and illegal, legal action will be taken against it.
In a statement issued on the social networking website Twitter, Rana Sanaullah said that the statement has been sent to the FIA for action.
He said that it is a crime to incite people by lying against the officers.
Rana Sanaullah says that propaganda is being done on social media against institutions including the police, they will conduct a clean-up operation on lies and fake videos.
It should be noted that PTI leader Shereen Mazari said that Mohsin Naqvi should answer under which law the police is entering houses without warrant and harassing them.
He had said that this is not the writ of the state, it is the law of the jungle which this person and his followers are using against the PTI.
