Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has praised Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar, who recently resigned from the elite panel of the International Cricket Council (ICC), for his outstanding service in international cricket.
In a statement issued on the social networking website Twitter, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Aleem Dar is admired all over the world of cricket due to his flawless umpiring in all types of cricket matches.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif says that Pakistan is proud of Aleem Dar.
It should be noted that on March 16, Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar withdrew from the elite panel of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Aleem Dar has umpired in a record 435 international matches.
Pakistan umpire Ahsan Raza has joined the ICC Elite Panel in place of Aleem Dar.
Ahsan Raza has been included in the ICC Elite Panel for the year 2023-24.
