Lahore: As soon as Imran Khan left Lahore for Islamabad, the police launched an operation in Zaman Park, arrested several PTI workers and demolished the campus.
Police operation is going on in Imran Khan’s house Zaman Park in Lahore. CCPO Lahore himself is monitoring the proceedings. The police broke the doors of Imran Khan’s house and entered.
Zaman Park area has been completely sealed. Police are accompanied by water cannons, bulldozers and a prisoner van. Police demolished PTI campuses with the help of cranes and removed barriers and containers.
Weapons were recovered from the house
Police recovered weapons from the house, including 16 rifles.
According to police sources, initially this weapon looks official, as Prime Minister Imran Khan was given this weapon but he did not return this weapon after leaving office.
The operation was conducted on a search warrant
It has been clarified by the police that the operation was conducted after a search warrant. The search warrant was issued by Special Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abhar Gul.
Dozens of workers were arrested outside and inside Imran Khan’s house. The workers resisted and pelted stones on the police. The police resorted to shelling to control the workers.
According to the police, the persons who attacked the Lahore police and damaged the property were arrested, who will be identified through CCTV and photographs.
It should be remembered that an agreement was reached between PTI and Punjab government yesterday.
