Quetta: After light rain and snowfall in the capital of Balochistan, the weather turned cold but the temperature rose above the freezing point.
According to Express News, light rain and snow fell in Quetta and Mastung on Saturday due to which the weather became cold. A minimum temperature of 1 degree Celsius was recorded in Quetta.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the highest temperature was recorded at minus 3 degrees Celsius in Ziarat, and 0 degrees Celsius in Kalat. Apart from this, there was light snowfall in the Pak-Afghan border area of Barabcha, while there was light rain in Dalbandin and surrounding areas.
PDMA and rescue teams are on the roads to clear snow and ensure traffic flow.
