love: 39 people died and many were injured when a passenger bus from Quetta to Karachi fell into a ditch near Bela.
According to Edhi sources, a fire broke out in the passenger bus after the accident due to which it is difficult to evacuate the passengers from the bus.
According to Assistant Commissioner Lasbila Hamza Anjum, the number of dead people in the passenger coach has reached 39. There were 48 people in the passenger coach, including children and women.
The Assistant Commissioner further said that he is monitoring the situation himself, most of the bodies are unidentifiable due to burning and their DNA will be done.
Edhi-in-charge Lasbela Dr. Abdul Hakeem Lasi says that efforts are being made to evacuate more passengers stuck in the bus.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo has expressed sorrow and regret over the tragic accident of the coach in Bela and directed to provide the best medical facilities to the injured.
He has directed that the district administration should continue the rescue operation and take the injured to the hospitals immediately.
