The Iranian judiciary has announced amnesty to 22,000 people arrested last year during the protests against the death of Mahsa Amini, a girl in custody over the issue of hijab.
The head of Iran’s judiciary, Gholam Hossein Mohseni, says that 22,000 people arrested during the protests have been pardoned.
He did not say in what period the amnesty was granted.
