Lahore High Court: A full bench was formed on the petition against the ban on Imran's speeches

Lahore: The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court constituted a full bench on the petition against the ban on broadcast of speeches of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.

A 3-member full bench headed by Chief Justice Lahore High Court will hear on Monday, March 13. Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza and Justice Sajid Mehmood Sethi are among the other members of the bench.

Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza suspended PEMRA’s notification banning Imran Khan’s speech at the previous hearing on March 9 and recommended sending the matter to the full bench.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan challenged Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA)’s ban on broadcasting his speeches in the Lahore High Court.

It should be noted that on March 5, PEMRA banned Imran Khan from broadcasting his speeches and statements regarding allegations against state institutions.
