In the second exhibition match of the Women’s League, Amazons defeated Superwomen by 41 runs.
In the match played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Superwoman scored 163 runs for 9 wickets in pursuit of Amazons 205 runs.
Lorraine Winfield Hill’s innings of 80 runs for Superwoman went in vain, other players included Iram Javed 28, Chamari Athapto 17 and Muniba Ali 11.
Anam Amin of Amazons got 4 wickets for 17 runs, Fatima Sana got 2 wickets, Danny White and Ghulam Fatima got 1 wicket each.
Earlier, Amazons batted first and scored 204 runs for 3 wickets in the allotted overs and set a target of 205 runs for the rival team.
Danny White played an outstanding innings of 97 runs while Bisma Maruf scored an unbeaten 73 runs.
Danny White of Amazons was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant innings.
The three-match series between Amazon and Superwoman is tied 1-1 while the third and final match will be played in Rawalpindi tomorrow.
