Australian cricket team captain Pete Cummins’ mother has died in Sydney.
Cricket Australia has expressed its condolences on the death of Maria Cummins last night, saying its condolences go out to Pat Cummins, her family and friends.
According to Cricket Australia, the Australian cricket team will wear black armbands on the second day of the fourth Test against India.
Captain Pat Cummins returned home from India after the second Test to take care of his mother.
It should be noted that Steve Smith is leading the team in the absence of Pat Cummins.
