Appeal of Saudi Supreme Court to all Muslims

RIYADH: The highest court of Saudi Arabia has appealed to all Muslims in the kingdom to observe the month of Ramadan on Tuesday, March 21.

In this regard, the Saudi Supreme Court said in a statement that Umm Al-Qura was on the 1st of Sha’ban on February 21 according to the calendar.

According to Saudi media reports, the Supreme Court appealed that all Muslims in the kingdom try to see the Ramadan moon on the evening of Tuesday, March 21 (29 Shaban) according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar.

The Supreme Court says that whoever sees the moon of the month of Ramadan directly or through binoculars, should register his testimony with the relevant institution with complete responsibility.

The court statement further said that those with sharp eyesight should join the Sawit Hilal Committees in all regions of the country to see the Ramadan moon.
