Argentina’s star footballer Lionel Messi won the FIFA Player of the Year 2022 award, beating French footballers Karim Benzema and Mbappe.
According to a foreign news agency, the FIFA award ceremony was held on Monday in Paris, the capital of France, in which awards were given to the best players of the year 2022.
In the Footballer of the Year category, there was a competition between Lionel Messi, France’s Mbappe and Karim Benzema, but the Argentinian won the Footballer of the Year award.
It should be noted that Lionel Messi scored 27 goals in 2021-22 while representing Argentina and various clubs.
