The Chinese company has written a letter to the Sindh government regarding the increasing incidents of thefts in Thar Coal Block One and has said that if the thefts do not stop, the desired results will not be achieved.
The chairman of the Chinese company, Meng Dong Ai, has written in a letter to the Chief Secretary of Sindh that local youths are involved in theft incidents.
According to the letter from the Chinese company, those who steal valuable steel, electric cable and other equipment are rescued from the police. A few days ago, the power supply transmission line was also damaged.
The letter also demanded that movement of unrelated persons be banned within 2 km from the fence of Thar Kol Block One.
