On the one year anniversary of Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the United Nations General Assembly passed the resolution against the Russian attack by majority vote.
According to foreign news agencies, the resolution calls for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine and the cessation of hostilities.
141 countries voted in favor of the resolution while 7 countries including Russia opposed the resolution.
According to reports, 32 countries including China, India and Iran did not participate in the voting.
In this regard, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has said that the resolution is a powerful signal of international support for Ukraine.
