Lahore: The intense heat wave is continuing in Punjab, while this week is predicted to remain in the grip of heat wave.
An alert has been issued by PDMA that the province is under heat wave this week. There are reports of hot and dry weather till Eid-ul-Adha across Punjab.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the entire Punjab, including the provincial capital, is in the grip of extreme heat. There are chances of gradual increase in heat intensity from today. In Lahore today, the minimum temperature has been recorded at 28 degrees Celsius while the maximum is likely to go up to 43 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may touch 46 degrees Celsius in the next few days.
