The Punjab government has announced further reduction in the price of bread in the province.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz issued a statement on the social media site X regarding the new prices of bread, in which it is stated that the price of 100 grams of plain bread has been fixed at Rs 12 to Rs 14 in different cities.
According to the notification, the new prices will be applicable from tomorrow, May 24.
Chief Minister Punjab wrote that ‘the price of bread has been further reduced, it is sad to say that due to the wrong decisions of the Tehreek-e-Insaf government, bread was out of the reach of the poor’.
