Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif took notice of the incident of torture of a madrasah student in Jaranwala and sought a report from the IG.
According to Express News, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, taking notice of the incident of torture of a madrasa student in Jaranwala, has sought a report from the IG and has asked that an investigation be conducted and legal action should be taken against the person responsible for the violence.
The Chief Minister also directed to provide the best medical facilities to the affected student.
Meanwhile, Chairperson Child Protection Bureau and Member Provincial Assembly of Punjab Sarah Ahmed has also taken notice of this incident and directed the team of Child Protection Bureau Faisalabad to contact the affected child and their relatives.
Sara Ahmed said that the incident of the alleged torture of a madrasa student in Jaranwala by a Qari is sad, the police should take strict action against the Qari who tortured the young child.
Chairperson Child Protection Bureau said that all possible support will be provided to the victim of alleged violence and the family members.
