Narowal: Two accused of raping girls in Narowal were killed in police encounter while other accused were arrested.
According to Express News, two suspects who blackmailed women by making a video of abuse and rape were killed by their unknown accomplices.
According to the police, the team of police station Naduke was taking two arrested suspects, Zubair alias Zohaib and Majid, to arrest other suspects, when five unknown suspects opened fire on the police party when they approached the canal track.
The police retaliated against the accused under self-defense, while two accused, Majid and Zubair, were killed by unknown accused.
According to the police, both the accused were involved in cases of harassment, rape and robbery with women and had records. Teams have been formed to arrest the unknown accused who will be arrested as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, according to the spokesman of Narowal police, under the leadership of DPO Narowal Malik Muhammad Naveed, Narowal police have also arrested a few more suspects involved in ill-treatment of women and indecent activities on the canal track. Information was received in Naduke police station that On the canal tracks, some naughty boys abuse the women, perform lewd acts and make videos of them and blackmail them.
The families going for sightseeing along the canal are being harassed, the group making the obscene video has allegedly harassed more than 10 young girls including women and has received two and a half lakh rupees for making the obscene video.
Narowal Police took this action under the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif under the “Never Again” campaign. The police team arrested several central accused by carefully evaluating all the evidences and taking timely action.
