There is a big news for the scholarship aspiring students.
A meeting of the Standing Committee Finance and Development was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, in which it was decided to create a Special Education Center of Excellence in every district.
In the meeting, 651 million funds were approved for Center of Excellence in 14 districts in the first phase.
During the meeting, a briefing was given that in the first phase, 12 schools for special children will be completely revamped this year.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that indoor and outdoor play areas will be built for children, special washrooms of international standards will be built for special children, while dash in the Secretary’s office will be monitored through CCTV cameras. Live streaming will be done on board.
He said that the movement of children will be monitored through trackers in buses, special activity rooms will be created for special children, the budget of special education schools has been separated from school education.
Maryam Nawaz ordered to recruit trained teaching staff for special children and directed the finance minister to provide as much money as required.
Apart from this, funds were also approved in the meeting for the digitization of settlement and rehabilitation records of the finance department, while funds were also approved for a state-of-the-art computer lab in the Government College of Technology.
