Lahore: Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yasin has said that steps are being taken to reduce the price of chicken.
In his statement, the provincial minister said that even now chicken is available in Lahore at 100 rupees less than Peshawar, but the price will be brought down, the export of chicks is being banned so that the prices of chicken in the country will come down.
He said that the price of a bag of flour has been reduced by 800 rupees, this is a historic move.
The Minister of Food said that farmers tear the land and grow grains for us, so we will take care of them, they are bringing a package of 130 billion rupees to give relief to farmers.
On the other hand, the Food Authority under the leadership of Food Minister Bilal Yasin has also launched a Special Meat Safety Task Force, the task force will ensure detailed inspection of the meat supplied.
