Lahore: In connection with the arrival of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, a local holiday has been declared in Lahore district yesterday.
After the approval of Chief Secretary Punjab, Section Officer Safdar Shabbir has issued a notification, according to which there will be a local holiday on arrival in Lahore tomorrow during the visit of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi to Pakistan.
The notification states that the holiday given on the arrival of the Iranian president on April 23 will be applicable only to District Lahore, while there will be no holiday in the Punjab Civil Secretariat and related departments.

It should be noted that in connection with the arrival of a high-level foreign delegation, a public holiday has also been announced in Karachi on April 23.
According to the notification issued by the Commissioner, all private and government offices and educational institutions will remain closed on Tuesday, April 23 in Karachi Division. The public holiday has been declared in view of the arrival of the foreign delegation in the city and to save the public from any kind of trouble.
