Lahore: PTI leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid has said that Sanam Javed and Alia Hamza Malik have been locked in jail on the orders of Maryam Nawaz.
While talking informally to journalists on the occasion of appearing in the Anti-Terrorism Court, PTI’s captive leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that there has been no decrease in violence against Tehreek-e-Insaaf workers for a year. Hundreds of innocent workers have been imprisoned in jails for a year.
He said that Alia Hamza Malik and Sanam Javed are being targeted and abused. There is no example of this in the history of Pakistan. For the last 15 days, Sanam Javed and Alia Hamza Malik have been locked up in Sargodha Jail on the orders of Maryam Nawaz. Human intellect is stunned, false cases have been established against them in many citizens including Lahore. Alia Hamza Malik and Sanam Javed have also staged fire and siege in many cities at the same time.
Yasmin Rashid said that how long will the Punjab Police continue to lie? The intelligent people of Pakistan can answer this cruelty only with the power of their vote. I appeal to the intelligent people of Punjab including Lahore to come out of their homes on April 21. Give historical victory to the candidates supported by Tehreek-e-Insaf and Sunni Ittehad Council. People should protect their votes. The people will hold accountable the incompetent rulers who robbed the votes of the people.
