Lahore: Farzana Begum, the Indian woman who became the victim of the alleged torture of her Pakistani husband, dismissed her husband’s claim of divorce as false and said that she does not want to go to India and she should be protected until a decision is taken.

Talking to Express News, Farzana Begum said that she does not want to go back to India, her husband’s claim of divorce is a lie, her children are hungry, she and her children are facing death threats from her husband. So until the case is decided, the government should provide them protection.

Farzana Begum said that she is now imprisoned in her house in Rehman Garden, this house and some property are in the name of her sons, her and her sons’ passports are with her husband.

She said that she has no one here, her husband is lying that he has divorced me, if he has divorced then show him a certificate.

She said that her husband wants to forcefully send her to India along with her first wife and children so that the property after her can be taken over in the name of her children.

Farzana Begum’s lawyer, Mohsin Abbas Advocate, told Express News that her client’s husband is spreading propaganda that her client’s visa has expired even though her client’s passport is in her husband’s possession.

He said that we asked the police to return the passports of his client and his two sons so that the visa status can be known.

He said that even if the Indian woman’s visa has expired, he will take legal action to extend the visa.

Lady Farzana Begum said in one of her statements that she will never go back to India without leaving her sons.

It should be noted that Farzana Begum is from Mumbai, India. She married Pakistani citizen Mirza Mubeen Elahi in Abu Dhabi in 2015 and both husband and wife came to Pakistan in 2018. They have two sons who are 6 and 7 years old respectively. There are years.
