the recent wave of terrorism;  9 thousand people included in the watch list in Punjab

Lahore: In view of the recent wave of terrorism, more than 9 thousand people active in Punjab have been included in the watch list.

According to CTD sources, regular monitoring of 9883 people has been started while geo-tagging of more than 19 thousand schools has been completed.

According to records, there are 2298 Afghan trained people in Punjab, monitoring of 540 people released from Afghan jails has also been started.

1566 youths who have received militancy training locally have also been identified while 65 people who have returned from Syria are also included in the watch list.

In addition, 753 militants were added to the watch list while those included in the watch list are associated with some proscribed organization or group.
