Nowshera: After the incident of boat sinking in Kund Park of Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Deputy Commissioner has issued instructions to close the park for the time being.
According to the details, several people drowned in the incident of sinking of a boat in the Kabul river in Kund Park located in Nowshera, some of them were rescued while the search for the rest is going on.
After receiving the information about the incident, Commissioner Nowshera ordered the complete closure of Kund Park.
The district administration says that after the accident, all recreational activities in Kund Park have been suspended, public entry has been completely closed until safety measures and arrangements are ensured.
The administration says that strict legal action will be taken against those guilty of negligence.
It should be noted that the district administration had imposed a ban on boating and bathing during Eid days under Section 144, but the visitors to the park violated it as a result of which the accident took place.
