Lahore: The Corporate Crime Circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore has arrested the accused involved in reference handi and illegal currency exchange.
The spokesperson of FIA said that the accused Salman Ali was arrested from the area adjacent to Cantt Lahore and during the raid, domestic and foreign currency worth crores of rupees were recovered from the accused.
He said that 26 thousand 700 US dollars, 800 British pounds and 3.5 lakh Pakistani rupees, evidence related to mobile phone and reference handi have also been recovered from the accused.
The spokesman said that the accused could not satisfy the authorities regarding the recovered currency, investigation has been started against the accused while raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused.
The spokesperson of FIA said that Inspector Mudassar Noor, Inspector Khurram Cheema and Constable Raheel were included in the action team.
