Islamabad: The Islamabad Traffic Police has issued an alternative route plan for the Pakistan Day parade.
According to the route plan issued by the Islamabad Police, the entry of heavy traffic will be closed in Islamabad on March 17, 19, 21 and 23 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 am, while the light traffic coming from Lahore will be closed. Rawat T Cross Chowk will be sent to Peshawar Road GT Road and Motorway via Rawalpindi Sadar Road.
According to the route plan, the traffic coming from Kraal Chowk and Rawalpindi will pass through the expressway from Khanna Bridge to Lahtrar Road to Bahara Kahu and Murree while from Rawalpindi Airport using the avenue going to Lahore, Murree Road to Rawal Road and turning right from Coral Flyover. Will be able to go to Lahore from Turn.
According to the plan issued by the traffic police, the traffic coming from the motorway will be diverted through Srinagar High, while Faizabad will be closed for all types of traffic on March 21 and 23 from 5 am to 2 pm.
Similarly, the Express Highway from Khanna Bridge to Faizabad will remain closed on March 21 and 23 from 5 am to 2 pm, while on March 21 and 23 from 5 am to 2 pm, traffic on the Express Highway from Khanna Bridge to Zero Point will be closed. Entry will be closed.
According to the alternative route plan, Faisal Avenue from Zero Point to Faizabad will be closed on March 21 and 23 from 5 am to 2 pm and Murree Road from Rawal Dam Chowk to Faizabad will be closed from 5 am to 2 pm on March 21 and 23. will remain
In a statement issued by the Traffic Police, it is said that separate parking has been arranged for the distinguished guests of the Pakistan Day Parade, the vehicles of the white card holders and participants will pass through the Expressway Faizabad underpass from Rawalpindi and all of them People will be able to park their vehicles on Route 1 around the parade ground.
Similarly, guests coming from Peshawar GT Road, and Motorway will be able to reach the parking lot by using Srinagar Highway Dhokdi Chowk to Murree Road, Rawal Dam Chowk to Exhibition Road.
Vehicles of guests with White Card 2 will reach the dedicated parking lot of Parade Ground via Expressway Garden Flyover via Srinagar Highway Zero Point, Guests coming from Rawalpindi via IJP Road via Faizabad Flyover via Garden Flyover. Shakrapadi will reach the parade ground.
Guests coming from Lahore GT Road to Rawalpindi Kraal Chowk via Expressway will reach Shakarparian Parade Ground via Faizabad Flyover, Green Card 3, Green Guard ii, Yellow ii, Red ii, 1 & 2 card holders will also take specific routes. will reach the parking lot.
