Peshawar: Non-bailable warrants issued for 47 accused for non-appearance in November cases

Peshawar: The Anti-Terrorism Court has issued non-bailable warrants for 47 accused for absenteeism in Nomai cases.

According to Express News, the case of 131 accused including PTI ministers and MLAs named in the vandalism case was heard. The hearing was conducted by the Special Anti-Terrorism Court.

Sunni Unity Council Provincial Minister Meena Khan Afridi, Assembly members Sher Ali Arbab, Muhammad Asif, 84 accused appeared in the court while 47 accused were absent. The court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for all the absent accused.

The court said that the SHO of Police Station Khan Raziq Shaheed should comply with the court order, the concerned SHO should present all the absent accused persons in the next hearing.

According to the prosecution, the accused are accused of protesting in the limits of Khan Raziq Shaheed police station on May 9. A case has been registered against the accused for vandalism and damage to government property during the protest. A case has been registered against

According to the prosecution, a number of current members of the assembly, local body representatives and workers, including PTI’s former ministers, were named in the case. A trial has been started against the accused in the ATC court. Around 84 accused have appeared during the trial so far. A non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued for the rest of the accused to be produced in court.

Later, the court adjourned the further hearing of the case till March 21.
