Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced the construction of the first government cancer hospital in Punjab.
The newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced the construction of Punjab’s first government cancer hospital near Valencia Town. In this regard, she reviewed the proposed site, where she was briefed about the cancer hospital.
Maryam Nawaz directed to invite the best specialist doctors from all over the world to build a cancer hospital and said that a hotel should also be built here for the inpatients.
While talking, Maryam Nawaz said that government cancer hospital will be built for cancer patients in Punjab. Punjab’s first government hospital will provide free treatment to cancer patients. Cancer Hospital will bring the best doctors and latest machinery to treat patients.
On this occasion Maryam Nawaz was accompanied by former Senator Pervez Rasheed, Member of Assembly Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Sania Ashiq and Dr. Adnan besides Chief Secretary, SMBR, Secretary C&W, Secretary Co Operative, Commissioner Lahore, DC Lahore and other relevant authorities were also present.
