Uttarakhand: On the issue of death of the accused allegedly by torture while in custody in Pir Mahal The former SHO, ASI and constable were arrested.
According to the details, the police registered a case against the accused and started action. In this context, it was informed that the accused who was killed by police violence belonged to 751 Arvati. According to the FIR, ASI Sarfraz and Constable Owais tortured and killed the accused.
Apart from this, Ali Haraj, Shahzad Haraj, Jahangir and Sabir Shah are also named in the case, while former SHO Thana Arwati, ASI Sarfraz and Constable Owais have been arrested.
On the other hand, the police claimed that the accused committed suicide by hitting his head against the wall.
