The Lahore High Court has sought a response from the Election Commission on petitions against the success of several candidates including Maryam Nawaz and Aleem Khan.

In the High Court, PTI-backed candidate Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid from PP-169 Lahore requested to stop the notification of the success of Malik Khalid Khokhar of PML-N.
He said that Khalid Khokhar has lost according to Form 45, but declared himself the winner in Form 47 by collusion. Order to prevent issuance.
The court called for arguments on the application.
The High Court has sought a response from the Election Commission on the petition of Umair Khan Niazi, a PTI-backed candidate from PP 170 Lahore.
Petitioner contended that PP 170 was successful as per Form 45 from Lahore, but RO issued Form 47 contrary to the facts, the court should order fresh compilation of Form 47.
In the High Court, a hearing was held on the petition of Maryam Nawaz, the PTI-backed candidate Shahzad Farooq from NA-119 Lahore, to stop the election results.
The court reserved its decision on the admissibility of the application.
Yasir Gilani from PP 145 also filed a writ in the Lahore High Court challenging the victory of PML-N candidate Samiullah Khan.
The lawyer of the Election Commission appeared in the High Court and said that till now the Election Commission is conducting hearings on all the petitions against the results. There are, but apart from two or three applications, complete Form 45 has not been attached with any application.
