Lahore: The police saved the life of a person who became unconscious due to extreme cold.
In another example of public service, the police saved the life of a person who had fainted due to severe cold in the township area after receiving a call on the emergency helpline 15.
A person who called the police on the helpline number reported that an unknown person was lying unconscious outside his house. The Safe City team instructed the Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate police station to respond immediately, upon which the police rescued the unconscious citizen.
After providing first aid to the unconscious citizen, warm clothes, food and tea were given. The citizen thanked the Safe City team and the police for saving his life.
