In view of the increase in the cases of corona variant across the country, the Sindh Health Department has issued guidelines.
In this regard, all the DHOs and Medical Superintendents of Sindh have been instructed to take steps in the directive issued by the Director General Health Sindh from Karachi.
The directive says that people associated with corona victims should be identified and quarantined, while those associated with patients should get tested and self-isolate.
DG Health Sindh said that corona wards should be established in all DHQs and THQs. People with severe symptoms should be provided with appropriate treatment facilities.
According to the guidelines, beds, medical facilities and resources should be ensured in all hospitals. Vaccination should be accelerated especially in the affected areas, it was further said that reliable sources should be used instead of fake news related to Covid-19.
According to the guidelines, the diagnosis of new cases should be monitored under a robust surveillance system. People should use face mask while taking precautionary measures.
DG Health added to keep distance and wash hands thoroughly when meeting people with symptoms.
