Lahore High Court raised important questions on the petition of Tehreek-e-Insaf
The Lahore High Court has reserved its decision on the petition against taking back the bat sign from Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The High Court heard the case against the withdrawal of the bat mark.
The PTI lawyer said that Election Commissioner Punjab is not accepting the decision of Peshawar High Court. The counsel for the federal government said that the petition is not hearable and the petitioner is not the affected party.
The Lahore High Court raised questions on the petition of Tehreek-e-Insaf and asked for answers.
The court asked whether the High Court can interfere in the cases which are under hearing in the Supreme Court, whether the relief which has been received from another court can be given by the Lahore High Court. Has the political party challenged Section 215 (5) of the Election Act?, the petitioners submitted written answers to these questions.
