In the last match of the Test series against Australia, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat and made a disappointing start to the innings, with 2 players returning to the pavilion for just 8 runs.

In the third match of the series being played in Sydney, openers Abdullah Shafiq and debutant Saeem Ayub got off to a very disappointing start and returned to the pavilion without opening an account.
