5 lakh 59 thousand 515 cases of malaria, 2 thousand 852 cases of dengue, 12 cases of Naegleria and 5 cases of Congo virus have been reported in Sindh this year.
The statistics of deaths due to various diseases have been released in Sindh.
According to the data of Sindh Health Department, 5 lakh 59 thousand 515 cases of malaria were reported this year, out of which 2 deaths were recorded.
In 2023, no death was reported in 2,852 cases of dengue. Negleria province reported 11 deaths out of 12 cases, while one person recovered.
In 2023, 2 out of 5 Congo virus patients died, while in 2022 there were 24 deaths out of 417 thousand 213 cases of malaria.
In 2022 alone, 64 deaths were recorded in 23 thousand 274 cases of dengue. 7 deaths from Naegleria were recorded in 2022 and CCHF Congo virus accounted for 7 deaths out of 8 cases in 2022.
