Aqeel Khan and Mohammad Shoaib have qualified for the finals in the men’s singles event of the ongoing 8th Serena National Ranking Tennis Championship in Islamabad.
Aqeel Khan beat Muhammad Abid 6-3, 6-3 in the first semi-final of men’s singles in the ongoing National Ranking Tennis Championship under the Pakistan Tennis Federation, while in the second semi-final Muhammad Shoaib defeated Muzamal Murtaza 6-6. lost 3, 4-6, 6-3.
Amina Ali and Sara Mehboob won their matches in the ladies singles quarter-finals.
In the men’s doubles semi-finals, the pair of Easam-ul-Haq, Aqeel Khan and Barkatullah, Yusuf Khalil were successful.
Ahmed Qureshi and Hamza Asim qualified for the finals of Boys U-18, while Rehab Faisal, Samir Zaman, Abdul Basit and Aamir Zari reached the semi-finals of Boys U-14.
