Australian League Big Bash team Melbourne Stars have contacted the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding Haris Rauf and Osama Mir.
According to sources, Melbourne Stars requested PCB to extend the NOC of both players, Melbourne Stars asked PCB for availability of Haris Rauf and Usama Mir till the first week of January.
Sources say that Melbourne Stars have asked for an extension of the NOC in view of the tour of New Zealand starting from January 12.
The PCB has not yet responded to the Melbourne Stars regarding the NOC extension, Haris Rauf and Osama Mir can play three more Big Bash matches if the NOC extension is granted.
Haris Rauf and Osama Mir were issued NOC by PCB till December 28, PCB issued NOC to Haris Rauf and Osama Mir to play 5 Big Bash matches.
On the other hand, Sydney Thunders have made several requests for extension of Zaman Khan’s NOC, the PCB has not yet responded to Sydney Thunders.
The Big Bash franchises have also assured the PCB regarding the workload of the players.
