Ali Hamza won the Sindh Snooker Cup title for the first time. In the final, he defeated Pakistan number three Zulfiqar Qadir by five frames to four.
In the final of the event held at the Snooker Club of Ghazri, there was an interesting contest between the two quests.
In the best-of-nine-frame decider, Ali Hamza played a brilliant game against Zulfiqar Qadir and won the title by 5 frames to 4. At one point they were down 2-4.
With this victory, Ali Hamza also qualified for the National Snooker Championship.
For winning the tournament, Ali Hamza was awarded Rs 60 thousand and runners up Zulfikar Qadir Rs 30 thousand. Former PBSA president Manoor Hussain Sheikh distributed the prizes.
