On the third day of the first round of the President’s Trophy, State Bank emerged victorious, defeating PTV by 10 wickets.
In the first round of the ongoing first-class cricket tournament President Trophy in Karachi, the match was decided on the third day in which State Bank defeated PTV by ten wickets, State Bank easily achieved the target of 47 runs of PTV.
In the first innings, the PTV team was dismissed for a score of 66 and got out by scoring 339 runs in the second innings. Hassan Mohsin scored 96 runs and Hassan Nawaz scored 83 runs.
Muhammad Abbas took four wickets and Ilyas three wickets for SBP.
SBP were given a target of 47 runs to win which they achieved without any loss.
In the match being played at National Bank Stadium, SNGPL has given Ghani Glas a mountain-like target of 409 runs. Azhar Ali and Haseebullah scored centuries in the second innings.
