In the letter, State Life has directed not to admit new patients under the health facility program in the federal territories.
The letter states that the Punjab government’s funding for the health facility program in federal areas is insufficient, the federal government has not released funds for the health facility program for several months.
State Life says that only the most urgent patients should be provided treatment facilities, the patients who are undergoing treatment should continue to be provided with treatment facilities.
The letter also stated that the treatment facilities under the Health Facilitation Program will continue in Punjab.
On the other hand, the Punjab government says that we have asked State Life not to put the burden of federal patients on us.
