The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have signed a hosting rights agreement to host the Champions Trophy 2025, paving the way for the event to be held in Pakistan.
At the start of the recent cycle, the ICC entrusted the hosting of the 2025 Champions Trophy to Pakistan.
To confirm this decision, the hosting rights agreement was also signed between ICC and PCB in Dubai on Friday.
According to the PCB spokesperson, PCB has started the preparations to host the event, in this regard, the government was also given an update in the high-level meeting held recently.
According to the spokesperson, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar assured the government’s full support in the meeting.
