A Taiwanese woman suffering from severe dehydration was admitted to hospital after surgery to remove more than 300 small stones (stones) from her kidneys.
According to Taiwanese media, Xiao Yu, the 20-year-old woman mentioned above, was admitted to a hospital in the city of Tinan earlier this month complaining of severe pain in her lower body.
Blood tests along with his fever test had an abnormally high white cell count. On which the doctors performed a CT scan, it was found that Xiao Yu’s right kidney is full of fluid and also has kidney stones.
After which the doctors first gave him antibiotics and then removed the liquefied substance from the kidney, finally they performed a small surgery to remove hundreds of stones from his kidneys, more than 300 in number and their size. It was from five millimeters to two centimeters.
According to Taiwanese media, these stones looked like small steam buns. According to doctors, there are many reasons for the formation of kidney stones, but in this case, the patient did not drink water at all, but she used to drink sweet tea and juices.
Due to severe dehydration, it is a condition in which the urine becomes thick and the minerals in it crystallize and form stones.
Chi Mai Hospital Tienan urges people to drink as much water as possible so that their bodies can excrete sugar, salt and calcium in the form of various foods in the form of urine.
